ABOUT ROY
I'm not just a 4th-degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. I have black belts in Kodokan Judo, Aikikai Aikido, and Japanese Jujutsu too. Even more importantly, I’m a mentor, sensei, father and friend.
I don't have all the answers. Nobody does. But I've seen what works and what doesn't in the real world, and what's necessary to turn a vision into reality.
Jiu Jitsu is a superpower. It will give you the edge you’re looking for.
I’ve been studying the art of jiu jitsu since I was 16 years old, sent to Japan as an exchange student, and earning my first black belt in Judo at the tender age of 17.
I’m here to tell you that jiu jitsu, and martial arts in general, are not just about fighting.
It’s about improving yourself. Everyday. It’s about embracing the kind resistance that makes you stronger. It’s about dynamic problem solving, without ideology.
